Toyota Motor Corp. announced Friday (28/7/00) that it is to launch a limited-edition luxury vehicle in commemoration of the company achieving the 100 million mark in domestic car production, reports Kyodo News Service/Associated Press (28/7/00).
The four-seater sedan, called the Origin, is to be launched on November 1st of this year with a price tag of 7 million yen.

The company said that only 1,000 of the six-cylinder, 3.0 litre vehicles, modelled on Toyota`s own first-generation 1950s Crown model, will be offered nationwide.
