The report said the company sells vehicles produced by local makers GM Daewoo, Ssangyong Motor, Daewoo Bus and Daewoo Truck as well as imported vehicles from General Motors, and also runs 12 vehicle repair units in the country.

According to Dow Jones, the estimated sales figure breaks down as 150,000 GM Daewoo units; 53,550 Ssangyong units; 8,000 units from Daewoo Bus and Daewoo Truck; and 900 imported GM cars.

Daewoo Motor Sales reportedly said it expects higher demand for vehicles from both GM Daewoo and Ssangyong Motor because of aggressive marketing by the makers.

The company more than doubled the sales target for imported GM cars this year because of an expanded sales network and the introduction of new models, the company added, according to Dow Jones.
