Johnson Controls expects fiscal 2007 earnings to rise 14% from 2006 results to $US6 a share, helped by “substantial growth” in its building efficiency business, market share gains in its power solutions business and diversification in its interior business, according to Dow Jones Newswires.

Analysts surveyed by Thomson First Call reportedly had been expecting earnings of $5.99 a share, on average.
Johnson Controls said revenue for 2007 is expected to reach $34 bn compared with analyst forecasts of $34.72 bn, the report added.
The Milwaukee automotive parts maker said it still expects earnings of $1.86 to $1.91 a share for the fourth quarter of 2006 and full year earnings of $5.25 to $5.30 a share, according to Dow Jones.
