Russian deputy prime minister Boris Alyoshin is to visit the Moscow AZLK (Moskvich) car plant to determine its future, sources in Alyoshin’s office told a Russian website.
The sources reportedly said Alyoshin was expected to visit the assembly line and hold a meeting with AZLK’s creditors.
According to the report, the sources said Alyoshin previously met with AZLK general director Ruben Asatryan and they agreed that the carmaker was now on the verge of bankruptcy and would probably fail to avoid bankruptcy proceedings.
