Certain markets, including the UK, are reporting that prices for used diesel cars are very robust as the choice of new diesel cars contracts and supply is limited. Diesels remain popular as towing cars (not a strength of BEVs) while also being seen as long-lasting, affordable to maintain and frugal on fuel. We expect this situation to continue, possible accelerating.
Over time we have seen the rapid demise of small diesel engines with a greater concentration around the 2.0L displacement. Large engine share of sales has increased marginally.
