
Vietnamese carmaker VinFast has said it has become the first automobile brand in the country to exceed 100,000 vehicle sales in the first three quarters of a year.
For the first nine months of 2025, the company delivered 103,884 units — a figure it described as the highest ever recorded by a company in Vietnam’s automotive sector.

In September alone, the company reported deliveries of 13,914 electric vehicles.
VinFast global deputy CEO of sales and marketing Duong Thi Thu Trang said: “Behind the figure of more than 100,000 vehicles are millions of acts of trust and support from our customers. We are deeply grateful for their confidence and remain committed to delivering ever greater value, thereby accelerating Vietnam’s green transition.”
The VF 3, referred to as Vietnam’s “national electric car,” led the company’s sales with 31,386 units sold in the first nine months, including 2,682 units in September.
The VF 5 followed closely, with 30,956 units sold over the same period, of which 3,847 were delivered last month.

By GlobalDataThe company’s fleet-focused variant, the Herio Green, recorded 8,604 units sold since January, with 2,173 units in September.
The VF 6 secured the third spot in VinFast’s sales rankings, with 14,425 units sold since start of the year and 1,933 units delivered in September. This was supported by a “substantial” backlog of orders, noted the company.
The VF 7, a C-segment SUV, sold 5,877 units over nine months, of which 778 units were sold in September.
Besides, the Limo Green, a seven-seater MPV designed for ride-hailing and premium transport, saw strong demand in September, with 2,120 units delivered, placing it at the top of its segment.
Amid expansion of production capacity at its manufacturing facilities in Hai Phong and Ha Tinh and the final quarter ahead, VinFast looks to set new “records” by year-end.
Earlier this month, VinFast unveiled two new electric bus models, the EB8 and EB12 models, at the Busworld Europe 2025 exhibition in Brussels.
The full-size 12-metre EB12 already meets UNECE and CE standards and is available to order in Europe, while the 8-metre EB8 will be released next year.
