Dura said its fourth-quarter net loss was $US2.9 million, or 15 cents a diluted share, compared with a year-earlier loss of $90.7 million, or $4.97 a share. Excluding charges for restructuring and early repayment of debt, Dura reported income from continuing operations of $9.8 million, or 52 cents a share, the report added.
The company had previously forecast it would earn 40 cents a share in the fourth quarter while three analysts on average expected the company to earn 41 cents a share, according to Reuters Research.
Dura reportedly said fourth-quarter revenue rose to $627.2 million from $576.5 million, boosted by the weak US dollar.
