Targa Telematics has announced a strategic partnership with Volvo Cars to develop new connected mobility services by integrating vehicle data from Volvo models in Europe.
This collaboration aims to provide fleet managers and drivers with a growing number of digital services, simplifying the provisioning process of vehicles and optimising fleet management.
The partnership enables direct integration of data streams from various Volvo models into Targa Telematics’ platform, facilitating the creation of new services without the need for new installations.
These services will utilise information such as kilometres travelled, fuel consumption, GPS location, EV data, and remote commands like lock/unlock, all in compliance with privacy and safety regulations.
Fleet managers stand to benefit from detailed reports generated by Targa Telematics, offering structured information crucial for effective decision-making and fleet optimisation.
This integration of data streams will allow them to leverage a set of valuable insights for managing their fleets more efficiently.
