It signed a contract for the transfer of land use rights with Shanghai Jinqiao Export Processing Zone for the second phrase of land transfer on 20 August 2004. The first phase was signed on March 2003, less than two and a half years ago.
This will transfer 60,000 square metres of land, doubling the existing land area of Volvo CE’s factory, located in Shanghai Pudong Jinqiao.
