Subject to the recall are Elgrands produced between April 2002 and March 2003, Nissan said in a report filed with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, according to Kyoto News.
Problems in a computer program for engine control could lead to a rise in exhaust temperatures and cause catalyst-system deterioration, Nissan said.
