Executive chairman John Conomos said: “There is a natural synergy between the automotive industries of Australia and ASEAN.
“Breaking down the trade barriers potentially provides significant opportunities for the industries in both areas.
“The combination of a mature developed economy such as Australia and the tremendous potential of the ASEAN economies should provide an added stimulus for growth and investment,” Conomos added.
