UK car output rose by a paltry 0.1% – 115 units – to 155,512 in June.
This indicates the recent growth pattern, which has seen 10 monthly rises in output during the past 12 months, is faltering. Export volume rose 3.1% for the month to 108,973 units.
Year to date, car production rose just 1.9% to 873,791 units, while production for export was up 5.6% to 610,667.
