Ford Motor Co considers Lithuania as one of several prospective sites for a new diesel injection system plant, BNS news service reported citing an unsourced article in Lietuvos Zinios daily.
If Ford selected Lithuania as the location for its new manufacturing facility, the country could attract up to two million euros in investment. The project would also create around 300 jobs, it said.
