PSA Peugeot Citroën and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation said on Friday they are negotiating a cooperation agreement on an all-new SUV.

In a brief statement the two automakers said negotiations were at an advanced stage and that Jean-Martin Folz, CEO of PSA Peugeot Citroën, plans to visit Japan next week in order to finalise the agreement.
Separately on Friday, MMC announced a new revitalisation plan which said that a vehicle procurement deal would be finalised with PSA in February.
Neither company would provide any more details.
