The Endeavour SUV, launched in November, has also made good numbers with over 1,000 sold and has managed to capture over 40% of the premium SUV market in this short period in the face of tough competition from the Honda CR-V and Suzuki Grand Vitara XL-7.


Ford has ‘rationalised’ Ikon prices since the car was first introduced in 1999.


To meet growing demand, the carmaker has plans to increase its dealer network from 90 in 71 cities to over 105 in 86 cities by the end of the year.
