The major chunk of this investment will be used to set up a manufacturing facility for CRDi systems while the rest will go on expanding the company’s rotary pumps manufacturing capacity and also into a recently-opened technical centre.
The centre has been set up in the company’s manufacturing facility at Mannur, at a cost of INR500 million, and will focus on developing products and applications for meeting future emission rules.
It will be equipped with such facilities as a chassis dynamometer, common rail engine test bed and common rail fuel injection test rigs.
