Honda sales revenue for the fiscal year ended 31 March, 2024 increased 20.8% year on year to JPY20,428.8bn due mainly to increased sales revenue in the automobile business as well as positive foreign currency effects.

Operating profit increased a whopping 77% to JPY1,381.9bn due mainly to an increase in profits attributable to price and cost impacts as well as sales impacts, partially offset by increased expenses.

Profit before income taxes increased 86.7% to JPY1,642.3bn and net profit rose 70%, to JPY1,107.1bn.

For the fiscal year ending 31 March, 2025 the automaker forecast sales revenue down 0.6% to JPY20,300bn, operating profit up 2.8% to JPY1,420bn, pretax profit down 8.7% to JPY1,500bn and net profit down 9.7% to JPY1,000bn.
