Dow Jones said that, earlier on Thursday, Swedish industrial group Trelleborg said it had named Peter Nilsson president and chief executive to replace Arp, who was leaving to become president of Volvo Car.
Arp succeeds Hans-Olov Olsson, who will become chairman, on October 1, the report added.
