Lex Service, owners of the RAC breakdown organisation, warned the city and investors of a downturn in profit margins.
Blaming this drop on falling prices and a lack of consumer demand, profits are set to fall by £10 million to £54 million according to city analysts. The company said however that its breakdown business performed well since its acquisition of the RAC last year for £315 million.
