Building on the claimed success of the 2004 programme, which resulted in nearly two million people visiting GM dealerships, showroom visitors now have another opportunity to win one of 1,000 vehicles.


“The original Hot Button program was an industry first and achieved unprecedented results in terms of the number of consumers who visited dealerships, including hundreds of thousands who might not otherwise have experienced [our] products,” said Brent Dewar, vice president, GM North America Marketing and Advertising.


From April 11, “eligible consumers” have a chance to win vehicles by visiting participating GM dealerships and pushing the OnStar ‘Hot Buttons’ in specially designated vehicles.


GM is also offering $US1,000 ‘Hot Button’ cash incentives from April 5 to May 31.
