Trigo Group, which specialises in inspection, consulting and quality engineering services for the transport industry, has announced a deal with ACC Group, the battery module joint venture between Saft, Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz.

Trigo will support ACC in optimising the quality of its production processes and securing the quality of incoming components. Its teams will carry out quality control and rework operations on battery modules assembled by ACC.

The industrial quality specialist already works at the ACC plant in Nersac (Nouvelle-Aquitaine), and will also provide its expertise at France’s first electric battery plant, recently inaugurated in Billy-Berclau (Hauts-de-France).

By 2025, this will extend to the Kaiserslautern plant in Germany.
