Avis Rent A Car System, Inc. has announced that the Hummer H3 will be added to its US car rental fleet just in time for the busy summer travel season. The new vehicle, available for rent in June will be available at select Avis airport locations in the following cities: Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City and Seattle.

“Our customers tell us they want to drive cars that are interesting and fun when they rent,” said Scott Deaver, executive vice president of marketing for Cendant Car Rental Group, parent of Avis. “Proving once again that ‘We Try Harder’ to meet customers’ needs, we have added the Hummer H3 to our fleet.”
The Hummer H3 is the latest addition to the specialty and luxury vehicle lineup at Avis. Other vehicles available for rent include the Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Trailblazer, Chevrolet Uplander and the Cadillac Deville.
However, the company says that quantities of specialty and luxury vehicles are limited. Beginning on May 24, customers may reserve a Hummer H3 by visiting http://www.avis.com/ , calling 1-888-777-AVIS or consulting a local travel professional.
