Daewoo is to recall Nexia and Espero models due to a possible fault with seat belt closure. Models manufactured between 1995 and 1997 will be checked, but not all vehicles are affected. The modification is a preventative measure only and no accidents or injuries relating to this fault have been reported in the UK.

Owners of 23,000 Nexias and Esperos will receive postal notification over the next two weeks, directing them to their nearest Daewoo service centre of which there are 120 across the country. Daewoo owners can also call the central Customer Services team on freephone 0800 060606 in case of query.
