Production for the UK market in October 2004 at 27,674 cars was 11,934 lower than October 2003’s 39,608 – a drop of 30.1%.
Export production of 107,442 was 6,320 or 5.6% lower than October 2003’s 113,762.
In contrast, production of commercial vehicles rose 1,889 or 11.3% from 16,757 in October 2003 to 18,646 in October 2004.
UK market production fell 10% year on year in October by 743 to 6,492 from 7,235 in October 2003.
Export production rose 27.6% to 12,154.
