In May, Italian new car sales fell 28% to 149,229, hit by a truckers’ strike which stopped thousands of vehicles reaching dealerships, the news agency noted.
“The increase of the sales (in June) is linked to a recovery in deliveries, which had been delayed because of the truckers’ strike last month,” the source told Reuters.
