Peugeot Citroën Automobiles UK chairman Tod Evans is quitting on 31st December but will remain president of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders until June 2005.

Evans started with what is now the PSA Peugeot Citroen group in the UK as marketing director of Talbot in 1981 and moved through various roles to become managing director of Peugeot’s UK operation in 1997.
He became chairman of Peugeot Citroën Automobiles UK in April 2003, working from the group’s newly established corporate communications office in London.
