Automodular Corp. has received a C$8 million contract from an unspecified tier 1 automotive manufacturer for the sub-assembly and sequencing of components in Oshawa, Dow Jones reported.

In a news release cited by the news agency, Automodular said that, in support of the contract, it has signed a three year lease on a facility in the Oshawa, Ontario, vicinity and will begin production on July 16.
Automodular supplies sub-assembly, sequencing, transportation and logistics services to automotive plants, Dow Jones noted.
