The vehicles are adaptations of the electric Peugeot e-Expert and Citroen e-Dispatch passenger van models commonly used as accessible taxis in the UK and Europe, along with their ICE equivalents.
Each vehicle accommodates up to five passengers, including one in a wheelchair, or six without.
The vehicles are 100% electric-hybrid, combining a rechargeable battery with a hydrogen fuel cell and have a range of 400km (250 miles).
Refuelling takes three minutes, the only ‘exhaust pipe’ emission is water, and Stellantis claimed ‘no compromise on cargo capacity’.
