DaimlerChrysler has announced the retirement of Steven Torok, its senior vice president – strategic assessment, on December 31.

Torok, who was named to the position in June, has held a number of key positions during his 30 years with the company.
Torok joined Chrysler Corporation in June 1973. Prior to being named to his final post, he was executive vice president and board member of Mitsubishi Motors Corp. in Tokyo.
