The Chrysler group will restructure its European sales operations, company sources have told Automotive News Europe.


Jacques Bousquet, the US automaker’s managing director for France, will move to DaimlerChrysler’s headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, where he will coordinate European sales and marketing.


Chrysler wants to streamline sales and marketing and improve coordination among European sales regions.


Bousquet will report to Thomas Hausch, Chrysler group’s executive in charge of expanding the Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge brands in Europe. Hausch will continue to be based at the Chrysler group’s headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
