The plant will be located in the Bhiwadi Industrial area near Alwar. The plant will supply fasteners mainly for the automotive industry and is tipped to supply components for Maruti’s new Swift model.


The UK-based Caparo group has three other facilities in India – in the Maruti Joint Venture Complex in Gurgaon, Caparo Engineering in Indore, and in Halol.


It supplies medium sized stamped steel skin and body-in-white parts to Maruti, General Motors India and Eicher Motors.
