Among the additions are 318d, 318i and 330d versions of the the 3 series range and a new 330d model in the 3 Touring line-up.
New petrol V8-powered 540i and 550i models are being introduced at the same time as a 367hp five-litre V8 engine also debuts in the 650i coupé and convertible.
Sport variants of the 6 series also appear for the first time, slotting in between standard and M6 models. A new long-wheelbase diesel-powered 7 series and new two-litre petrol and three-litre diesel-powered X3 models are also now available.
Most models in the line receive improved specification levels while M Sport variants are added to five model lines.
Sport models have unique suspension settings and interior trims while the new M Sport variants add aerodynamic body styling additions, unique sports suspension, high-gloss exterior trim, and M Sports steering wheel, seats, gear knob, door sill kick plates, interior trim and anthracite [black] headlining.
All 5 series diesel models now have a diesel particulate filter (DPF) as standard and a revised iDrive controller, Start/Stop button and a boot [trunk] lid release button.
The revised V8 version of the 6-series and the new 550i share the same new 4,799cc engine. The 650i replaces the 645Ci.
All 1 series models now have an automatic drive-away door locking function.
