Nissan do Brasil will start selling the Mexican-made Sentra sedan and export locally-made Frontier pickups to Mexico under a free trade agreement between the two countries.

Nissan will import about 800 Sentras from Brazil by the end of 2005 and plans to ship 5,000 Frontiers in the other direction.

The Brazilian unit has not yet said if it will import the redesigned 2006 Sentra which goes into production in Mexico in mid-2005.
