The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) at its General Assembly in Tokyo today elected Itaru Koeda to lead the organisation for the next two years. Mr. Koeda is the Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
Mr. Koeda succeeds Yoshihide Munekuni, Chairman of Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
As Nissan’s Board Co-Chairman, a position he assumed in 2003, Mr. Koeda is responsible for External and Government Affairs and the Management Committee for Affiliated Companies.
Prior to that, Mr. Koeda served as a member of the Board of Directors and an Executive Vice President responsible for purchasing and the European Management Committee.
