Steve Sturm, formerly vice president, logistics, is appointed to the new position of vice president, North America planning. Reporting to senior vice president Dave Illingworth, Sturm is charged with developing strategies for North America and the Western Hemisphere in support of sales and supply objectives.


Alan DeCarr, formerly group vice president, sales, Toyota Division, is appointed group vice president, Toyota logistics services & international operations, which includes responsibility for Toyota de Mexico and Toyota de Puerto Rico. DeCarr continues to report to Don Esmond, senior vice president and general manager, Toyota Division.


Bob Carter, formerly vice president, Lexus sales & dealer development, is appointed vice president, sales, Toyota Division. He also reports to Esmond.


Mike Wells, formerly vice president, Lexus marketing, was named vice president, Lexus sales & dealer development, replacing Carter. Wells continues to report to Denny Clements, group vice president and general manager, Lexus Division.


Mark Templin, vice president, Lexus service, parts, customer satisfaction & training, replaces Wells as vice president, Lexus marketing. Templin continues to report to Clements.


George Christoff, formerly general manager, Lexus Western region, is promoted to vice president, Lexus service, parts, customer satisfaction & training, replacing Templin. Christoff reports to Clements.


Jeff Bracken, formerly general manager, Portland region, replaces George Christoff as general manager, Lexus Western region. Bracken reports to Wells.


David Depew, assistant general manager, Portland region, is promoted to general manager, replacing Bracken. Depew reports to Carter.
