The castings will be machined by United Machining, a joint venture between UniBoring and Wescast Industries, and the 6L 3V engine will be manufactured in Ford’s Romeo plant.
Production will begin in 2005 at Wescast’s Wingham, Ontario casting facilities and the parts will be machined at United Machining’s facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
