New Penn Motor Express, Inc., a subsidiary of Arnold Industries, Inc., (Nasdaq: AIND – news) was one of three less-than-truckload carriers in North America to be recognized by The Home Depot for service excellence during the Carrier of the Year awards ceremony held recently in Atlanta.

To receive this recognition New Penn outperformed all other less-than-truckload (LTL) core carriers serving the Northeast region, and several excellent LTL carriers serving other regions of the US.

Each year The Home Depot measures its LTL carriers on service quality and recognizes those that perform at the highest levels. Performance measures include surveys completed by receiving department and regional transportation associates, on-time delivery, speed of transit, freight claims, safety, EDI usage and billing accuracy.
