Ridepro Suspension products were launched onto the Australian market in late 2002, offering excellent ride and handling characteristics for on and off-road use. The range includes shock absorbers, springs, steering dampers, torsion bars, sway bars, leaf springs and 4×4 equipment. This wide range of equipment has earned a reputation for durability, quality and value for money.

This new found reputation is claimed to have attracted Equipmen’ 4X4 based in Paris to become the RidePro distributor for Europe and Africa.

Ridepro was unveiled to European four-wheel-drive enthusiasts and retailers at Europe’s largest automotive equipment show, the Equip-Auto show in Paris. Yves Ravot, President of Equipmen’ 4X4, was ecstatic at the response by the public and European 4WD retailers who visited the stand at the show.

“The Ridepro product is very attractive to our retailers because the product has been designed and tested in Australia, utilising the unique experience and knowledge in that market and the fact that it is produced in Australia guarantees quality,” says Ravot. “I firmly believe that the Ridepro products will exceed the demands of European 4X4 drivers and provide them with affordable suspension packages. The African market is probably on a par with Australia, and with similar terrain and that means we are sure they won’t be disappointed with Ridepro suspension kits.”

“There could not be a better time for Ridepro to be making its European debut,” says Gerry Wilson, general manager of Ateco Automotive’s Equipment Division, which launched Ridepro products just 12 months ago.

“The European 4×4 market is booming with a host of new products and rapidly increasing sales. Like here, a significant proportion of those 4×4 owners want to upgrade their vehicles. Australia has a reputation as being one of the toughest testing grounds for 4x4s, so we arrived with an Aussie advantage. Add this to the excellent reputation Ridepro had already built up in Australia and we believe we can take a significant share of the lucrative and huge European market, as well as breaking into Africa.”
