I'm up to London's wonderfully rarified Belgravia today to visit the 18th century country mansion where the UK's auto industry trade body, SMMT, is based (it was fields around there when it was built). They're hosting a seminar on CO2 that involves government departments and the vehicle manufacturers. Should be an opportunity to take the temperature on the issues surrounding CO2, something which will be of increasing importance in Europe given some of the future targets that have been set. I'll post my impressions in the Blog as soon as I can. If there's any news, we'll get it in there too. Why are CO2 emissions important to government, the industry and consumers? There's a question.
