I have read a few of the obituaries in the UK press on John DeLorean. He doesn't get a very good press here, the spectacular 'rise and fall' tale of his life dominated by the DMC sports car episode and its very peculiar status as an employment generating project in Northern Ireland at the height of 'the troubles'. Our regular columnist Karl Ludvigsen has submitted something for just-auto, a piece which he told me he felt he just had to write (unsurprisingly perhaps, Karl knew the man). It says a few things I haven't read elsewhere.
