We've just published another edition of Karl Ludvigsen's column that he writes exclusively for just-auto. It makes for a good read I must say. When you're steeped in the industry with the kind of history he has, your opinions really are worth something. This time around, Karl's got some insight to share concerning the Alfa Romeo brand. For those that don't know, one of Karl's industry stints was at Fiat Motors of North America as VP of corporate affairs in the late 1970s. He also took part in the product development of Fiat and Lancia cars both in the USA and Turin. It's fair to say he has a better handle on the politics of the Italian auto industry and its history than most of us. In fact, it's always a little humbling to look at his CV and I'm glad he writes for us: car guy, MIT, US Army Signal Corps, auto industry exec., prolific writer, industry consultant, cat and duck lover...
