Blog: Dave LeggettInchcape - a whopper of a company

Dave Leggett | 5 March 2008

I enjoyed Rob Golding's Inchcape piece. He knows his way around the publicly listed automotive retail/distribution companies from his days as an equities analyst. Inchcape looks like an example of a company that can successfully set a strategy and then execute it; it's certainly doing well at the moment.

The head honcho's pre-Inchcape experience is certainly interesting in that it is more generally retail-based rather than automotive. The man apparently learnt some important lessons at Burger King. Yes, they were whoppers.

Certainly Inchcape is a company to watch.
