Interesting feature published today on just-auto from Jesse Crosse that provides some insight into how a car like the Ford Focus is actually engineered in terms of ride and handling characteristics. Jesse managed to speak recently to Adrian Whittle, the Focus Two's Chief Programme Engineer. Some illuminating comments are inside the interview. It's worth a look, as it's not every day that we manage to get to speak to someone quite so at the sharp edge (ie actually doing the nuts and bolts engineering work).
