There are a couple of innovative marketing campaigns on at the moment. One that I have been made aware of today is the Fiat 500 campaign. This news item sums it up, but I'd recommend that you have a look yourself. The website makes use of some interesting interactive ideas and the idea of using your fan base (potential customers) like this is something that will surely catch on.
