Neil Winton has been in touch to draw my attention to an article he has posted on his website concerning global warming and the automobile. While at Reuters Neil had a number of responsibilities and served his time as energy correspondent. He therefore has a good grasp of the major issues here as well as an acutely developed sense of how things are played out in the media and by politicians.
