It wasn't all that surprising that Chung Mong-koo got away with a suspended sentence was it? At the end of the day, it was hard to see him being stuck away. As the judge more or less said, Hyundai Motor is too important to be put at risk by banging Mr Chung up. I guess the fact that he was indicted is at least evidence of progress, even if the critics think he has had an easy ride.
