Blog: Dave LeggettBack in the real world...

I had a great week off on vacation last week. It was Mediterranean weather here in England - can't really complain at that - but a little cooler on the coast. Nice. Just had an update chat with GR (pleased to see he's been keeping the Blog ticking over nicely) and I've given my e-mail inbox an initial 'first fly-past'. No nasty surprises in the mountain of e-mails that I will now have to work through. I've also got to get myself up to date with what's been going on in the industry. I am one of those people who really does switch off - apart from reading car mags on the beach and checking cell phone voicemail once a day for 'emergencies'. But people in the office know it would have to be serious for them to leave me a message and I trust GR to look after the shop when I'm away. Someone from the BBC was trying to get hold of me late last week to be interviewed as an analyst about a strike at Aston Martin and about PAG generally. I'm afraid I didn't get the message untill too late, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway. I had much more important things on my mind - like buying fresh lobster and attempting to catch waves on a body board.
