Blog: Glenn BrooksAnother week, another future Mazda seen

Glenn Brooks | 16 July 2013

It's been a bad month for Mazda's ability to keep its forthcoming models secret. After images of the hatchback Axela (Mazda3 outside Japan)leaked out of HQ, pics of the sedan followed. Now it's the turn of the next Demio (Mazda2) to be spotted ahead of launch.

This won't only be badged as a Mazda, remember - Toyota Motor Sales USA will import 50,000 units a year as a replacement for the Yaris from mid-2015. These cars will come from the Salamanca plant in Mexico, which is close to completion and which will launch its first product, the Mazda3, in a few months' time.

If the pic published by Minkara is authentic, the new model is going to have a dinky boot - there's not much metal aft of the rear doors is there?
