Audi has reported car sales in China up 71.5% in the first eight months of the year to 52,590 units.
A company official told XFN-Asia the total included both locally made and imported cars delivered to customers in China, including Hong Kong.
The Chinese-made Audi A6 posted particularly strong delivery figures for the January to August period, totalling 38,979 units.
Audi achieved its biggest H1 growth in China (including Hong Kong): up 94.2% to 38,838 units.
