Dana Corporation will begin assembling off-highway axles and transmissions in Gyor, Hungary, in the first quarter of 2006.

The company's new facility there will initially employ about 50 people assembling, testing, painting and packaging of axles and transmissions for agricultural and construction vehicles. These products will go to both European customers and export markets.

"This particular plant will facilitate the development of a supplier network in Eastern Europe for the benefit of our off-highway customers globally," said a Dana spokesman.
